Rug pull checker for Solana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain

Paste a contract address and MagicVest reads the chain for you: who can still mint, whether the liquidity can be pulled, how concentrated the holders are, and what the deployer did with their previous tokens. Six checks, one score, no guesswork.

What the checker looks at

Mint authority

If it is still active, the deployer can print supply at will and sell into your bid. Revoked is the only safe answer.

Freeze authority

A live freeze authority lets the deployer lock your wallet out of selling. Legitimate on a few compliance tokens, alarming on a memecoin.

Liquidity lock or burn

Unlocked liquidity is the classic rug setup: the pool can be drained in one transaction. We report the lock duration and the share burned.

Holder concentration

Top 1, top 10 and top 25 shares, with bundled and insider wallets grouped. A single non-burn wallet above 15% is a warning.

Honeypot and sell tax

Some contracts let you buy and never sell, or raise the sell tax after launch. We simulate the exit before you take the entry.

Deployer history

The same wallets rug repeatedly. We trace what the deployer shipped before and how those tokens ended.

How to run a check

  1. Copy the contract address

From the DEX, the chart, or the link someone sent you. Never from a screenshot: tickers are trivial to clone.

  2. Paste it into MagicVest

The chain is detected automatically across Solana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain.

  3. Read the MagicScore

Green means safe and promising, orange means proceed carefully, red means step away. Every flag is explained in plain language.

Rug pull questions, answered

What is a rug pull, exactly?

A rug pull is when the people behind a token remove its liquidity or mint unlimited supply, leaving holders with something they cannot sell. It usually takes one transaction and a few seconds.

Can a checker guarantee a token is safe?

No, and any tool that claims otherwise is lying to you. A checker reads on-chain facts and flags known risk patterns. It cannot know whether the team will abandon the project next week.

Which chains are supported?

Solana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain. The chain is detected from the address format, so you do not need to select it.

Does checking a token cost anything?

Reading a token costs nothing and requires no wallet connection. MagicVest never asks for a signature to run a check.

How early can a rug pull be detected?

Contract-level traps such as an active mint authority or a honeypot are visible from the first block. Behavioural signals, like a deployer quietly moving funds, usually surface hours before the collapse.
